[Riku sounds surprised, but also excited. What has he found?]

You've got to come see this. Deck 12--around the left side of the luggage.


[Riku's on the luggage deck, off to one side sitting on the floor. Scattered around him is an entire collection of interesting things, including a bunch of Disney movies--but what -Riku's- looking at is a game. Yeah, he's holding Kingdom Hearts I and II, and is staring at them both. There's a PlayStation 2 nearby, and you can bet he's planning on figuring out how to play these things.

What in the -worlds- has he found here?]

[To say Riku is more than a little displeased about this is an understatement. But he -does- pay a little bit more attention to the voice talking to him. It's not one he knows, it's deeper and not squeaky and... and the vocal patterns are some he can recognize.

Unfortunately, this means that his struggles to get away double, and his voice when he speaks is cold.]

[Uh oh, he's clued in. And judging from the tone of voice, he's not entirely too happy to find out who it is. So Sora lets him go, fingers wiggling, hands up in defeat.]

Alright, alright. [Easy there, kiddo.]

[Good, Sora's let him go. Riku immediately takes a jump backward, putting a good distance between them. He doesn't sound too happy, yes, but you can see on his -face- that he's not too happy, either.]

Pretty bold move, Sora. What are you doing here?

[Sora flops back onto his haunches, hands behind him on the floor. He'd been eyeballing the games left on the floor, until Riku spoke. Geez, was he always this angry, before? When was he... er, from?]

I dunno. Same reason you're here I guess. [He shrugs] I saw you and came to say hi! And here all I get is some snark. [He smirks] How typical of Riku.

Hmm. Is that so?

[He doesn't seem like he believes you, Sora. After all, the last time the two of you were together you told him that he was on the wrong side and no longer had a conscience. And you just "came to say hi"? Right.]

What about your other friends?

[Sora cants his head a little, shrugging his shoulders.]

Back home, I guess?

[Oh Riku. He is sorry for that, but the truth hurts sometimes, doesn't it? Darkness isn't really a good side to be on.]

[Yeah, you know what? No. He hates how Sora is so flippant, how he doesn't even care.]

I would have thought you'd do the same, then.

[You're just jealous that you can't pull it off, Riku.]

Well, I was but... [He glances around, hand ruffling the back of his hair.] I ended up here out of nowhere. [Up he gets, a good head and a half taller than you, pipsqueak.]

[He can -totally- pull off being flippant! He just doesn't when there's nothing to be flippant over. LIKE RIGHT NOW!

For a moment, Riku doesn't respond. He's thinking about this thing--Sora's here now. What does this mean for him and Kairi? Of course, it's just like Sora to come in and botch it up when things seem to be going so well. That, in addition to his memories of what Sora said last time, solidify his resolve.

In the back of his mind, though, he hears Oogway, reminding him that people often say things they don't mean.

But he ignores it.]

Seems to me like that sort of thing isn't too unfamiliar for you. Where's your gummi ship?

[He knows in his heart that Sora's been pulled here, too, just the same as him, but he doesn't want it to be true.]

[Sora knows why Riku is mad at him. Doesn't like him anymore. Doesn't want him around. But... He's not sure if he should say anything. The knowledge could corrupt something if he doesn't find out the right way or something, or-!

He sighs. This is really complicated, for being so simple.]

If you see it, let me know. I don't know how I got here. I just.. Woke up here. At first I was worried I'd gotten lost or kidnapped or something, but if you and Kairi are here, it's okay.
