Hey there new guy. I'm kinda new, myself but I can tell you what I know about what's going on. Just don't expect to believe me at first. It's some pretty crazy stuff.

Kairi... you mean the redhead? Oh yeah. I saw Kairi not too long ago, actually. She's doing okay last I saw her.

Yep! Geeze, you took that in way faster than I did. I thought people were messing with me. To be honest, I still don't know what the Golden Shore is. Just that the place is pretty freaking far away. People have been on this ship for like two years.

And about Kairi- you proooobably won't find a lot of people in a hurry to tell you about where she is. Sorry. Things have quieted down since, but some jerks had it in for her recently.

Yeah, well, it's not exactly uncommon by this point. [Especially not when you're world-hopping yourself. Ending up somewhere new and unusual? Eh.] Two years, though? Sorry, but I don't know I wanna stay that long.

Dude. Relax. She's fine. I don't actually know her that well, but there were a bunch of people willing to stick their neck out for her and keep an eye on her when everything went down. She seems like a good kid.

Whoa, hang on, Kairi! [He's laughing at her for a moment, but sobers up quick.] I should be asking you that, not the other way around!

Stay where you are. I'll come find you.

[And she settles down in the corridor outside her room to wait. She won't be able to persuade Riku to let her find him. But finding her will probably take him a while unless he happens to be on the same deck. And what are the chances of that? Oh wait!]
