[Everything's back to normal now. No weird age changes, he's not stuck in some girl's body, and he managed to make it through the past two days without finding himself trapped in someone else's body! All in all, an interesting week. But today something odd is going on--today, there are plenty more people than he's seen on this boat before.]

So where are all these new passengers coming from? There's a lot more than usual. And I thought I saw...

[He trails off. He was fairly sure he'd seen someone who looked just like the girl he'd met at the masquerade... but she'd been -different-, too. It was almost like there were -copies- of people here, too.]

Never mind. If anyone needs me, I'll be in the forest.

[That's where Riku's going to be spending most of his day, but it's not the only place you'll find him. Riku's working on that treehouse again, and so he needs tools. He'll be rummaging through the luggage on deck 12 for nails and a hammer and all sorts of fun things, he'll be outside the forest on deck 3 to take a swim, and later on, he'll be in the caverns, not for any real purpose but instead just to think.

You'll find him anywhere, all over the ship today, so feel free to run into him anywhere!]

Well, to be honest? Everyone's been kind of going their separate ways since you left. I mean Wakka and I still go to the island. But Kairi won't go anymore. She keeps talking about not going back until you get home. So, of course, Selphie won't come with us half the time because she's worried about Kairi. And then, well, we get worried and-- I guess it's really no fun without you, to be honest. Kairi's always kind of mopey. Even if she doesn't show it.

Just what have you been doing anyway?

[He only makes fun of you because he likes you~ ~~we're ignoring the fact that he's a snarky jerk to everyone, though.~~ But the aliens will totally come down to get you sooner or later, and then you can join them on their ship!

But all snark aside, to hear what's been going on since he left is kind of disheartening. He doesn't know what happens at the end of their adventure--he doesn't even know -why- Kairi's gone home alone--but things shouldn't have changed -that- much.

Riku shrugs at Tidus's question, though, flippant as ever.]

Me and Kairi left the islands. We went to a whole bunch of different worlds--I'm not sure why Kairi's back on the island and I'm not, to tell you the truth. Before coming here, the two of us were together.

And Kairi's here, too--she's from the same time as you are. We've both been here for months, now.

[W-Well, it's not very nice! ~~Tidus isn't a crybaby to his snarky. What are you talking about?~~ H-HEY. THEY TOTALLY WILL. YOU JUST WATCH.

Well, don't look at him. Tidus has been hanging out on the islands wondering the same thing-- and he even has Kairi there who probably knows the half of everything but doesn't talk much--

Oh. That's. Really cool, but also totally not. Because he would have left with them in a heartbeat if he knew that the island would get as boring as it was. But how did they leave anyway? He files that question away for now though because, huh? Kairi's here? Whoa, what?]

You've been here for months? What have you been leaving me out of all this time?

[It's okay, Tidus, you don't get the worst of it anyway~ That honor belonged to Sora. Whooooo you don't remember. So maybe you -do- get the worst of it. HMM.]

Oh, you know. Capture the flag, giant sushi-making bears, a deck that's full of caves, camping out in the forest on deck three, bees bigger than you are... it gets pretty boring sometimes, but something always happens to shake things up.

[Like this past week, for instance! Riku's been both his older, Ansem-lookalike self (not that he knew who that was) and a -girl-. Can't get much weirder than that, right?]
