[Everything's back to normal now. No weird age changes, he's not stuck in some girl's body, and he managed to make it through the past two days without finding himself trapped in someone else's body! All in all, an interesting week. But today something odd is going on--today, there are plenty more people than he's seen on this boat before.]

So where are all these new passengers coming from? There's a lot more than usual. And I thought I saw...

[He trails off. He was fairly sure he'd seen someone who looked just like the girl he'd met at the masquerade... but she'd been -different-, too. It was almost like there were -copies- of people here, too.]

Never mind. If anyone needs me, I'll be in the forest.



[That's where Riku's going to be spending most of his day, but it's not the only place you'll find him. Riku's working on that treehouse again, and so he needs tools. He'll be rummaging through the luggage on deck 12 for nails and a hammer and all sorts of fun things, he'll be outside the forest on deck 3 to take a swim, and later on, he'll be in the caverns, not for any real purpose but instead just to think.

You'll find him anywhere, all over the ship today, so feel free to run into him anywhere!]

[Now, that's just not -fair-. What Riku wouldn't do to have Soul Eater back right now... but he's gonna hold his ground, arms folded, though you might notice that he's dropped his center of gravity a little bit--just in case.]

I'd call that counterproductive, is what I'd do.

[Axel grins, continuing to spin the chakram.]

You won't be getting anything out of me by talking, I can tell you that much. Aren't you a man of action anyway?

[Never has Riku hated Redd more than he does right now. He has his wooden sword on him, but it's pretty obvious that's not going to be of much help now. His fingers twitch by his side, but he can't summon Soul Eater here, he knows, he's tried--

Wait. Something solidifies in his hand, and for an instant Riku can hardly believe it--he knows what it has to be, -feels- the familiarity of the weight, but he still has to look down to confirm the fact that Soul Eater is in his hand.]

[Only then the reality sets in, and Riku looks back up to Axel, the biggest smirk ever coming across his face. He has a weapon now. He has a weapon and he can fight. This might just be the best day he's had since getting here!]

All right, then, if talking doesn't work...

[Come on, Axel! He can take you.]

[That hesitation will cost you, Riku. Axel starts when he sees Soul Eater, and then summons his other chakram while the fair-haired boy is staring at it.

He leaps forward to slice at Riku's head.]

worse comes to worse he'll make a break for the elevators or something!

[But having his sword back is enough to unlock something in his mind, enough to boost his confidence several notches. Riku drives upward, knocking the chakram away from his head as he twists, reversing the sword to come down and slash horizontally at Axel.]
