[010//Audio & Commentlog] BUT REALLY THERE ARE NORMALLY -SIX- WALLS...

[Everything's back to normal now. No weird age changes, he's not stuck in some girl's body, and he managed to make it through the past two days without finding himself trapped in someone else's body! All in all, an interesting week. But today something odd is going on--today, there are plenty more people than he's seen on this boat before.]

So where are all these new passengers coming from? There's a lot more than usual. And I thought I saw...

[He trails off. He was fairly sure he'd seen someone who looked just like the girl he'd met at the masquerade... but she'd been -different-, too. It was almost like there were -copies- of people here, too.]

Never mind. If anyone needs me, I'll be in the forest.

[That's where Riku's going to be spending most of his day, but it's not the only place you'll find him. Riku's working on that treehouse again, and so he needs tools. He'll be rummaging through the luggage on deck 12 for nails and a hammer and all sorts of fun things, he'll be outside the forest on deck 3 to take a swim, and later on, he'll be in the caverns, not for any real purpose but instead just to think.

You'll find him anywhere, all over the ship today, so feel free to run into him anywhere!

Exactly! [You always did catch on pretty quickly, Riku.] This ship can take you anywhere and anywhen in the universe you wish to go--with some exceptions, of course. I can't exactly take anyone backwards into their personal timeline.

[He nods again.] That's right. I know, it's a rather arrogant sort of name, but it's what my race collectively called themselves. Time Lords, watching over all of time and space from Gallifrey.

[The grin turns sheepish, and a very Sora-ish gesture is pulled as he scratches the back of his head.] Or at least, that's the sort of legacy I have to live up to! Gallifrey is seems to be trapped behind a time lock, and I have yet to sense any other Time Lords outside of the lock.

FFFF. WAY TO GO. At least you're having twice the lawlz though, right? Poor Riku So much brain break

[... THIS IS TRUE. IT JUST GETS OLD SOMETIMES. D< Specifically when you tease him about his aliens! THEY DO EXIST.

Something happening to make him forget though? ...Nope, can't really say he could believe that. He might have agreed more if he had-- Oh wait. H-He had, hadn't he? But that was just as he landed here. So then. Was this just all a dream or something? Uh... Yeah, exit stage right. With you on that one.

Not. Important.]

Well, to be honest? Everyone's been kind of going their separate ways since you left. I mean Wakka and I still go to the island. But Kairi won't go anymore. She keeps talking about not going back until you get home. So, of course, Selphie won't come with us half the time because she's worried about Kairi. And then, well, we get worried and-- I guess it's really no fun without you, to be honest. Kairi's always kind of mopey. Even if she doesn't show it.

Just what have you been doing anyway?

[identity profile] candlejack-gone.livejournal.com 2010-09-12 09:08 pm (UTC)(link)
[Well Candlejack CAN'T you silly twit!]

He nods. "It has a nice ring, don'tcha think?"

your multipart reply, it is forgiven ♥

[Keep staring, younger Riku. At least you could be comforted by the fact that you do get a good growth spurt at some point within the next year.

Meanwhile, this Riku's eyes are still locked onto 'Ansem', his grip on the hilt of Way to the Dawn tightening. When he speaks again, it isn't to 'Ansem', it's to you, Riku.]
Don't listen to him. Giving yourself over to the Darkness isn't going to solve anything.

[Funny. It sounds like he knows from experience, if that touch of guilt he couldn't keep out of his voice is anything to go by. Might want to ask him about that later.]

XDDD FFF GOOD.

[identity profile] blitzdream.livejournal.com 2010-09-13 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
[W-Well, it's not very nice! Tidus isn't a crybaby to his snarky. What are you talking about? H-HEY. THEY TOTALLY WILL. YOU JUST WATCH.

Well, don't look at him. Tidus has been hanging out on the islands wondering the same thing-- and he even has Kairi there who probably knows the half of everything but doesn't talk much--

Oh. That's. Really cool, but also totally not. Because he would have left with them in a heartbeat if he knew that the island would get as boring as it was. But how did they leave anyway? He files that question away for now though because, huh? Kairi's here? Whoa, what?]

You've been here for months? What have you been leaving me out of all this time?

slips back in here~ (without typos >.>)

[identity profile] hearts-devoured.livejournal.com 2010-09-13 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
Come, Guardian! [Before the firaga can even come close to impact, the dark familiar of Ansem's stands before him, blocking the magic attack.] Oh? Two of you now?

[He folds his arms across his chest then, yet there's an amused smile on his face.]

Don't make me repeat myself, boy. [It's spoken towards younger!Riku before his turns his full attention to the older one.] You're still a fool, I see. A brat who's heart still fears the dark even after obtaining it.

What can you possibly hope to accomplish by intervening? Still so stubborn.

\o/

[identity profile] hearts-devoured.livejournal.com 2010-09-13 08:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah, though perhaps meaningless, [The Heartless begins, amber eyes cast towards the younger!Riku once more, but his Guardian's focus still on the older silver-haired teen.] desiring an explanation is understandable.

Surely you will at least allow such a request? [The question is for older!Riku, though he does not bother waiting for a reply as he begins to speak once more.]

You opened your heart to the darkness after much debate and stubbornness, child. [He's speaking back with the younger of the two.] You accepted the darkness within your own heart — accepted it as your weapon — had stopped resisting. Yet... you were still weak. I gave you the dark and yet you denied me.

Had you not refused me, you would have been able to amplify the darkness inside your heart. You established a relationship with the Heartless, having matured to an existence that had secured the power of darkness, yet you still had doubts. Still held fear within.

That is all. [He finishes with a flick of his hand, as if the whole ordeal had been a trivial matter, one that had not concerned him greatly.]

I miss edit buttons. ;A;

[identity profile] pathnottraveled.livejournal.com 2010-09-13 10:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I accepted it all right--but it wasn't enough. Sora's Heart was--is, still stronger than mine. You can probably imagine that I didn't take it so well.

Then I did something stupid--I let him into my Heart. [The anger in his voice is only eclipsed by a combination of self-loathing and guilt.]

I couldn't do anything but watch as he used my body to try and take Kairi's Heart from Sora with a black Keyblade made from the Hearts of the other six Princesses. [He smirks slightly here, though it's not the nicest-looking one.]

I was actually glad he won that fight, but watching him pick that stupid Keyblade up and stick it in his chest to let Kairi's Heart out... I wished a lot of things on Sora then, but becoming a Heartless wasn't one of them. [He turns his attention back to 'Ansem', and the smirk leaves his face entirely. He's still addressing his younger self when he speaks up again.]

You'll only regret giving up everything for the Darkness--it didn't save Kairi in the end, only put her in more danger. [And the subtext? 'And I was too blind to see it.']

[identity profile] time-keyed.livejournal.com 2010-09-14 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
Something like that. Encountering yourself when you're not supposed to creates a paradox, which can create a hole in the space/time continuum the size of a small country. [He says this rather matter-of-factly, as if creating a black hole via paradox was the same as commenting on the weather.

While the smile remains, it becomes a sadder smile.]
Ah... yes, I suppose I would be, wouldn't I? [He shakes his head in reply to the question.] No good, I'm afraid. Events that are locked in time are not only incapable of being traveled to or messing with, but are behind that lock for a reason. I vaguely recall the theory regarding time-locked events--that they're separated from the rest of the timeline for a reason. Whatever this reason might be...

[He has a few ideas, but there were only whispers and recordings that could tell him about the event he thinks is behind that lock.] I'm certain whoever put the lock in place had a good one.

[identity profile] time-keyed.livejournal.com 2010-09-17 05:04 am (UTC)(link)
I would, but I don't want to know. [His voice hardens there, becoming deadly serious.] Ignorance is bliss, after all. If I don't know, then I can hold out on the hope that maybe, just maybe there are more Time Lords out there, hidden away by the influence of a chameleon arch like I was, instead of...

Instead of what the legends I keep hearing say of their fate-- of Gallifrey burning in a war I only barely remember hearing the adults whisper of, the Time Lords all dead. [A dark look appears on his face--dark, and more than a little angry, and alien. Something completely non-Sora--and the hints of a forming grief, and hope slowly being lost the more he hears.]
